Business Development Executive

Our innovative FinTech/Saas technology company is looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Sales team. This is a great opportunity for a driven team player that thrives in a collaborative, fast paced environment. This role will encompass an ongoing account management function due to our company philosophy of building long-standing relationships with our clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • Responsible for cultivating new and direct merchant relationships by independently mining for opportunities to establish merchant accounts and gateway relationships.
  • Responsible for direct sales and business development.
  • Work with an internal pipeline of clients to upsell our merchant processing software.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets established by management.
  • Manage ongoing account plans and deliver on both strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Build internal and external relationships to gain and share information such as industry trends.
  • Fully understand and clearly articulate the value and differentiation of our merchant solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the merchant/ payment industry.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Business Development/Sales or Account Management role. 
  • Functional experience in business development, partnership / account management or strategy.
  • Significant track record of achievement and success with client relationships and sales growth. 
  • Working knowledge of payment industry products, services and technologies.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
