Business Development Professional

eHopper is a cloud based point of sale platform, headquartered in New York. eHopper is an ideal solution for small to mid-sized restaurants and retail that are looking to implement modern technology to speed up operations, increase revenue and enhance customer experiences. We are seeking an experienced business development professional to join our team. In this role you will engage with various industry partners, such as merchant services providers, reselers (ISOs),technology organizations and merchants to grow revenue, and reach new markets. The ideal candidate will have business development and/or consulting experience in point of sale or payment industry. The successful candidate will spend more than half their time in prospecting, meeting with and qualifying prospects and participating in industry networking events. Some travel required for tradeshows or meeting customers.

Requirements:

  • Leverage your existing relationships and contacts in the payment or point of sale industry to offer our reseller products
  • Perform all aspects of business development: prospecting, presenting, closing and following-up
  • Manage contract negotiations and liaise with the legal team
  • Plan, organize and execute trade shows or industry relevant events
  • Become active in relevant payment and point of sale networking groups and associations
  • Ability to manage work using CRM

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years sales experience in payment or point of sale industry
  • Proven track record in prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals
  • Experience in selling to reselling partners
  • Experience in selling to small and mid-sized businesses
  • Experience with MS Office and CRM is strongly desired
